Seventeen years ago, no one thought that Kate Middleton, William’s student love, would become his wife. Fans sometimes come back to these moments and “pull” old recordings and photos out of the drawer – We just found one of them.

Kate and William studied at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. The future Duchess of Cambridge attended art history classes. And the queen’s grandson also first studied in this field, but changed it to “geography”. They both graduated in 2005.
According to tradition, after passing all the exams, the official and ceremonial diplomas were presented at the university.
William and Kate began dating while studying, although British royal expert Kate Nicholl said their first meeting took place much earlier. However, back then no one thought that they would become a couple that almost the whole world admired. Supposedly, they were to be introduced to each other by mutual friends even before they began their studies in 2001.
